Welcome to the Holiday Break Spring and Summer 2026/27 online grant application service, powered by SmartyGrants.

Navigating the form
Each page includes a Form Navigation panel, which allows you to move directly to different sections of the form.
You can also use the ‘Next Page’ and ‘Previous Page’ buttons at the top or bottom of each page to move through the form step by step.
Tip: Remember to save your progress regularly as you go.

Saving your draft
Your form will automatically save when you click ‘Next Page’, ‘Previous Page’, or select a page from the navigation panel.
If you need to leave before finishing:
- Click ‘Save and Close’
- Log out safely
To return later:
- Log back in
- Go to ‘My Submissions’
- Select your submission to continue
You can also download a copy of your form (draft or submitted) as a PDF:
- In My Submissions, click your submission number and select the red PDF icon
- Or click ‘Download PDF’ on the Review and Submit page

Session time-out
For security, your session will expire after 20 minutes of inactivity.
- You will receive a warning 90 seconds before timeout
- You can choose to extend your session or log out
If no action is taken, your form will automatically save before logging you out.
Recommendation: Save your work frequently—especially when writing longer responses.

Submitting your application
Before submitting, go to the ‘Review and Submit’ page to check your responses.
You will only be able to submit once:
- All required fields are completed
- There are no validation errors
To submit, click ‘Submit’ at the top or bottom of the page.
Important: Once submitted, you will not be able to edit your application or upload additional documents.
After submitting:
- You will see a confirmation page
- You will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your application
If you do not receive a confirmation email or see the confirmation page, your application has not been submitted. Please also check your spam or junk folder.
You can track your submission status anytime via ‘My Submissions’.

Attachments
You may be required to upload supporting documents.
- Files must be saved on your computer or storage device before uploading
- Maximum file size is 25MB (recommended: under 5MB for faster upload)
- Allow time for each file to upload before adding another

Collaborating on your submission
Multiple users can work on a submission if:
- A SmartyFile Organisation has been created
- Only one person edits the form at a time
Tip: Save regularly to avoid losing work.
